Document the condition

Photograph peeling, bubbles, color changes, or visibility issues before a consultation. Note which windows are affected and whether the previous film product is known.

Check the warranty first

If you have installation records, review the terms before paying for replacement. Different warranties cover different products, workmanship, and exclusions.

Allow for careful removal

Removal takes its own work and can be more involved around older adhesive, rear defroster lines, or fragile components. Ask for an assessment and a clear removal scope.

Choose the replacement deliberately

Use the refresh as a chance to reconsider shade and coverage. Record the new product and its care instructions so future maintenance is easier.

General template education. Product claims, local requirements, and studio policies should be checked against the actual vehicle, product, and business before a real launch.
